Peru defeats Northwestern 4-1 in boys’ tennis action on Thursday night. The Tigers could only muster a number one doubles of Ben-Marvin Egel and Evan McClure.
The win by Peru improves their MIC record to 3-0. This places them only a half match back of league leading Western. These two teams will face off September 18th.
Northwestern falls to 0-2 in the conference and 2-4 overall and will play at the Lafayette Jeff Invite on Saturday.
Peru improves to 4-5 (3-0 MIC) overall and plays Hamilton Heights on Monday.
