Peru vs. Taylor

The Peru Tigers upped their conference record to a perfect 3-0 with a huge win over the Taylor Titans 65-56. Peru got off to a slow start, with under 30 seconds to play in the first half Peru trailed 22-30. But a quick bucket and a Luke Primerano steal, followed by a foul at the buzzer gave the momentum back to Peru going into half. The Tigers went into the break trailing 26-30. Peru than came out and took the lead and held on for the final score. Terry Smith led the Tigers with 18, followed by Wes Zimmerman with 17. Mason Zimmer led the Tigers with seven rebounds. The Tigers return to the court Tuesday January 27, at Tig-Arena against the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings.
